HERITAGE OF THE YUMBOS

You will learn with the guide-farmer the customs and knowledge of our ancestors, the use of the tools of the field, experiencing the planting of yucca or other tubers that are grown in the area. Discover the utilities and benefits of the medicinal plants in our garden and savor the seasonal organic fruits picking them directly from the tree, including tangerines, oranges, soursops, guavas, arazá, borojó, guabas, mandarin lemon, limes, reeds, star apples, bananas etc.  In addition, you will learn how to peel and chop sugar cane, finally make your contribution to the environment by planting native trees. Level 2 walk. Duration: 2 hours Approx

PIRIPE WATERFALL

We get ready with boots, hat and a walking cane to start the walk towards our Piripe waterfall, this a picturesque route through fruit trees, forest and a privileged panoramic view of the area. Medium difficulty trail we walk under guava trees until we reach the natural jacuzzi under the waterfall surrounded by a magical environment of trees and rocks.   There is nothing like a refreshing bath full of natural energy at the end of a good walk! Level 2 walk. Duration: 3 Hours Approx

MASHPI - BIRD PARADISE.

Feel the magic of the forest and its elements in a pure state in the Mashpi – Amagusa Ecological Reserve. This area with high biodiversity is an ideal place to observe the largest number of endemic birds of the Andean choco. In this bird sanctuary you will be able to see around 22 endemic species such as the Green Tanager or Emerald Tanager, The Indigo Hummingbird, Moss-backed Tanager, Mashpi Parrot.  An unusual ornithological paradise where you can observe and photograph birds in their natural environment.

Madera

PANELA AROMA TOUR 

This experiential learning will allow you to participate in the panela manufacturing process with the community, from transporting the cane in donkeys or mules, grinding in the sugar mill, whether motorized or artisanal, to obtain the guarapo, "stir" the fire so that the "pailas" are heated and the guarapo is cooked, at the end you will learn how the panela is traditionally wrapped forming the "wawas" that are ready for sale.
*Operation days: Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

SECRETS AND NIGHT VOICES

A dinner in the forest between the fog and the mist. We activate our senses to discover the amazing nightlife of the forest. As we walk we will observe how the forest fairies sleep, we will listen to the serenades of the crickets, we will walk the path of the fireflies, when the magical inhabitants of the night come out, such as the Mashpi frog, the rain frogs or the glass frog are wonderful moments that unite us with natural life for a unique sensory and experiential experience.
